BYD sells its dynasty-named cars (元, 宋, 唐) under the Atto/Seal/Dolphin ocean series abroad; Geely turns 博越/星越L into Atlas/Monjaro.
Trademarks and language
NIO's ES6/ES8 became EL6/EL8 in Europe after an Audi trademark challenge, and names like 初恋 (“First Love”) get replaced — that's the Haval Jolion.
Export-only brands
Some badges only exist abroad: Chery's 探索06 is the Jaecoo J7 overseas, and Skyworth cars are sold as Skywell outside China.
